Dear Community, We're happy to share some exciting news about the Belmont Library. Our reopening is just around the corner! With most of the improvement work now complete, we’re excited to welcome you back with a soft opening this Saturday, July 12. In partnership with the City of Belmont and generous funding from the Friends of the Belmont Library, the refreshed space features new paint, updated flooring, new furniture and improved meeting room technology. In addition to these upgrades, we’re thrilled to introduce a new makerspace designed to foster creativity, learning and hands-on exploration! These updates are part of our ongoing efforts to create welcoming, functional and inspiring spaces for everyone. What to Expect During the Soft OpeningBeginning Saturday, July 12, the library will resume its regular hours, Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM, and Friday through Sunday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM. - The library will reintroduce programs for all ages, including a special family storytime and summer adventure magic show on Saturday, July 12. - Library materials can be picked up and returned at the Belmont Library.
- Mailout holds will continue to be an option for those who selected home delivery during the closure through the end of July.
